Yewbarrow socks
Yewbarrow socks
Yewbarrow is a gender neutral rib and cable sock pattern - named for a wonderful rocky mountain in the Lake District - scene of many a great family walk.
This pattern looks quite complex to start with but is actually a very simple 4 round repeat with just 2 cable crosses - ideal if you’d like to try cabling without a needle maybe? A variation on a seed stitch rib adds texture and interest to either side of the central cable panel and has the added advantage that it is super quick to work. These socks offer a fun and addictive knit and produce a great unisex result.
